Today, we wrapped up the student's "Take a Stand"ù paper for her English class. She decided to create a propaganda poster to drive her paper home. She came up with a wonderful idea which sparked an idea in me, and she loved it. She got to work on it right away, while I drew up an outline to organize her paper to flow better. She did an outstanding job on her poster in a rather short amount of time, and then we fine-tuned her paper.

During this session, the student and I focused on completing his research paper, applying all corrections his teacher offered. Also, we worked on a computers project and completed 2 assignments on creating and editing spreadsheets. His grades are all excellent and he continues to give 100 percent to all of his assignments.

We covered a couple of questions from the practice bank. We worked through the process of interpreting the question, analysis of the information given, ruling out the incorrect answer choices based on the info given, and confirming the correct answer choice.

We read through the first scene of A Midsummer Night's Dream. We went over a basic plot summary and character list before reading to help comprehension. Then we read out loud, going back to discuss key passages as needed. We then worked on writing a summary or paraphrase for his class assignment.
