I am a native Japanese speaker, born in Kyoto. My focus is to help you communicate clearly in Japanese in everyday situations, building competency through conversation, accuracy through tailored exercises, and confidence in a friendly and fun environment. I have been teaching Physics and Mathematics since the 1980s. In 1999, I started teaching Physics in College and in 2012, I started teaching Astronomy and Acoustics. In addition to being a college teacher, I also run my own Engineering consulting business. For the past two decades, I have serviced clients in real estate, colleges, the retail industry, and hospitals in areas such as laboratory and life safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability.

Following my B.S. in physics from The College of New Jersey, I am excited to help others as I prepare for graduate school.
