LSAT Tutoring review by Neil in Columbus, OH
The student and I worked through RC and Arguments today. I stressed the importance of reading for structure and reading for facts, and how to spot the signifiers of both. I also focused on preparing the student to spot even the subtlest or most obvious of assumptions. I enjoy working with the student and his enthusiasm and skill for the SAT continues to impress me.

LSAT Tutoring review by Kathryn in Columbus, OH
This session the student and I mostly worked on actual LSAT linear games. We reviewed some of the later material we worked on the last session before jumping into the games. I worked through diagramming with the student, mostly helping her to pull out inferences from the rules after she diagrammed them all. Then we went through the questions together deciding on each how to solve it - either by process of elimination by rule violation, applying a new rule to a local diagram or creating hypotheticals. As we went on I let the student do more work on her own and only helped out when she was missing something or needed some explanation.
