I am an award-winning high school mathematics and computer science teacher in Ohio, recently being named a state finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching (PAEMST). I received my Masters in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. I received my Masters in Mathematics Education from The Ohio State University where I also received my BS in mathematics and civil engineering (structural). I absolutely love helping students feel confident and successful in mathematics by exploring cool problems and using dynamic applets to help visualize ideas and key concepts.

I enjoy playing bass guitar and guitar in a number of bands (including a Beatles Marathon band), helping with animal rescue work, watching Netflix, and continuing to be a lifelong learner by reading and watching math videos on YouTube. I also like writing math contest problems for contests such as the AMC10/12.
