My interest in numbers led me to a bachelor's degree in Actuarial science and a master's in Statistics with the focus on data analysis. I was on the Dean's Student Awards List the entire undergraduate years and in honor college during the first two years of study. While exploring my passion for statistics during my master's degree, I also have taken part in various financial classes and machine learning classes at Columbia.

I graduated Cornell University College of Engineering cum laude with honors, majoring in biological engineering. Following graduation, I worked in a cancer drug discovery lab for a pharmaceutical company. I have tutored students of all ages in a variety of subjects. I am passionate about teaching and really want to see everyone succeed.

I am a rising senior at Miami University (OH) studying finance and economics. In addition to living in the U.S., I lived in Japan for 11 years and can speak, read, and write the language fluently. I took 400 level Japanese at Miami University my freshman year and am part of the Japanese Language Table.
