As a tutor I believe it is my job to not only help the student with the specific coursework they requested but also address underlying issues with study habits or test taking strategies if applicable and desired. I received my Bachelor's degree from Hamilton College in Mathematics and Economics, and my Master's degree in Applied Financial Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from UConn. I am passionate about math and especially enjoy Algebra, pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I think that math can not only be made more accessible, but also fun!
