Hello! I am a proud future pharmacist of the UNT System College of Pharmacy. A graduate from the University of North Texas System, I earned a B.S. in Materials Engineering and a M.S. in Medical Sciences. I am your one-stop shop for any STEM needs, and I look forward to helping you with your STEM journey!I have 7 -years experience in creating K-12 STEM Outreach curriculum through the Society of Women Engineers. Additionally, I have 2-years experience working on math, science, social studies, and english competencies for PreK-5th grade students. I love working with students of all ages, including adult learners. Some of my favorite sessions are helping adult learners achieve their goals through community college or technician courses!I am an enthusiastic tutor who will do my best to make you feel as if your 1-2 hour session has flown by. It's important to me that my students feel confident and capable by the end of their sessions. I do not lecture, but instead, I integrate active learning throughout my sessions. This challenges students to reach their full potential.

I love helping students discover and build on their strengths. I have a PhD in English from Bowling Green, an MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State, and a BA in English from Wichita State. I worked as a college professor and instructor for over ten years. I then moved to the legal field where I worked as a mitigation specialist in capital murder cases for over eight years while honing and broadening my research and writing skills. Currently, I ghostwrite paranormal, suspense, and romance novels and cover college football. Not surprisingly, I especially enjoy tutoring writing and English students.

I love being able to explain content in a way that students both relate to and are able to understand. One of the biggest skills I try to teach my students is to ask questions. The ability to voice where you need help and ask questions to get the answers you need is a valuable life skill.I have experience teaching 1st, and 5th-8th grade math in a variety of districts around Texas. I have most recently been teaching 7th and 8th Grade math at a virtual school. I have my Bachelors in Education from Midwestern State University and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from UT Arlington. My passion is teaching math. I know that this is an area many students struggle with. It is always my goal to not only help grow students understanding of math, but also to help them grow to love the subject.In my spare time, I enjoy crafting and learning how to do new things.

I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and my doctorate in pharmacy. During college I tutored chemistry, was a teaching assistant for the chemistry department, and taught a home school chemistry co-op. During pharmacy school, I was a tutor for pharmacy students at my school. I primarily tutor science and math.The first thing I do when tutoring is learn about the student. It is helpful for me to know the student's learning style, challenges and struggles with the subject, and their study habits. I also enjoy learning what the student likes to do outside of school. All of this information helps me cater the tutoring session to the student.Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with my husband, being outside, gardening, fishing, crafting, playing games, and eating food with my family and friends. It's important to spend time doing things you enjoy even when school is busy and overwhelming. It's the best way to give your mind a refresh and return to your studies refocused!

I am a graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have a B.S. and M.S. in Physics. My thesis focused on multiple optical properties of light sources. I have tutored throughout my high school and college career. In college I worked the Physics walk in table in the school library. I also have tutored one on one with students in 7th grade math through students in college level physics. I am currently working on finishing my teaching certification. I enjoy working through physics problems as well as math problems and hope I can pass my enthusiasm to my students.
