I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and find joy in learning. With over 30 years of experience, I have worked with middle and high school students and adults in their professional careers to help them understand complex subjects and develop confidence in their abilities.

I hold degrees in computer science, business marketing, and an MBA, and I am currently pursuing a second master's degree in information technology. This diverse educational background allows me to tutor various subjects, including history (with a particular focus on U.S. history), Computer science and computer learning-related topics, math, writing, and Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. I also enjoy tutoring business-related issues, drawing on my extensive experience in the field.

My favorite aspect of tutoring is creating an interactive learning environment where I can incorporate real-world examples to make subjects more relatable and more accessible to grasp. I believe that connecting lessons to practical, everyday experiences helps students understand and retain the material for the long term.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy off-road riding and woodworking two very different hobbies that reflect my love for physical challenges and creative, thought-provoking activities. These hobbies keep me balanced and inspired, and I bring that same energy and creativity into my tutoring sessions.
