My name is Conner Sciullo, and I am a undergraduate student at Loyola University Maryland in the class of 2026. The English Language, in particular the nuance of words and the use of language for effective communication, is my passion. I hope to help my students read and write efficiently and effectively.

I have worked both part-time and full-time for independent schools for 8 years, and now, I am excited to develop my abilities on this platform! "Creative" and "knowledgeable" are adjectives used to describe me, and they are my defining strengths as a teacher. Over time, I have also honed the focus and organization that now define me as an educator. This effort made me driven, hardworking, and nurtured a sincere empathy for my students.

I'm a Maryland native who loves good music, dramatic movies, and travel. Another one of my favorite things is working with students from all walks of life; I've been happily tutoring and mentoring for more than four years. I practice student-centered tutoring, which means I like to spend a little more time in the beginning trying out various learning techniques (written, oral, movement-based) to discover which best helps my student succeed.

While I have experience working in many fields, from publishing to software consulting, my true passion in life is education. I have been teaching for years and I firmly believe that a love of learning is the best thing that I can teach my students.
