Hi, I'm Claudia! I love using the outdoors as a classroom and an opportunity for exploration and expression. I've spent the last several years working with all age groups, from toddlers to college freshmen, to make learning as fun as it is important. Ask me about mollusks or the American South (or anything really)!

I tutored at a writing center while an undergraduate student, and became an Advanced Certified Tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association. I also taught English classes in Russia for 2 years. I enjoy tutoring because of the opportunity it presents to constantly adapt lessons and teaching styles to best meet the needs of individual students.

I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Environmental Engineering and Economics. Since coming to the east coast, I have tutored local Baltimore elementary students in elementary/middle school math and reading and writing. However, I also have experience teaching high school students for Science Olympiad, a common high school science competition.
