I received my B.A. in English and Theater from Converse University. I have worked with a wide range of ages, teaching Shakespearean analysis and performance to children ages 9-18 in summer camp settings. While in college, I served as a consultant at my university's Writing Center for two years, aiding undergraduate and graduate college students with their papers. I later worked as the Assistant to the English department, where I helped create and edit Literary Criticism and British Literature exams. I am deeply passionate about the literary and theatrical arts, and I was a 2023 SCICU grant recipient for theatrical research. While I find all tutoring work fulfilling, I am most well-versed in English and Theater. When teaching, my primary goal is to develop students' critical thinking skills, providing them with the tools needed to better comprehend and tackle future academic and personal challenges.
