I am a graduate of Carleton University. I received my Bachelor of Arts Honours in Environmental Studies with two minors in Earth Sciences: Earth Resources and Processes and Archaeology. Before university, I worked in environmental education as an outdoor pursuits instructor teaching all ages basic-to-intermediate outdoor skills and environmental literacy for the private school "The International School for Earth Studies." During university, I mentored 1st-year students as a student mentor in Carleton's "Enriched Support Program." While I tutor many subjects, I am most passionate about geography, the social sciences, and archaeology. In my experience, helping students realize their potential in academics and as community leaders is so very rewarding. I am a firm proponent of environmental education, believing it necessary to improve our quality of life and our connection to nature and each other. I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading a Louis L'Amour western, intellectual conversation, and games of soccer and ice hockey.
