Hi! I am an elementary teacher with twenty-four years of experience from Pre-K through fourth grade. I have both a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Drake University as well as a Graduate Certificate in TESOL from the University of Kansas. I love teaching Math, Reading, and Writing. I am a hands-on teacher and want to facilitate students to find answers, encouraging curiosity and joy in learning. I love to travel, and have lived in West Africa, and now Guatemala. In my spare time, I am a nature geek. I love to be on the Appalachian Trail, backpacking, and whitewater kayaking.
