LSAT Tutoring review by Ryan in Miami, FL
The student and I covered another logic games section. I explained timing strategies to him and we also reviewed how to make the master sketch and key deductions. I then had the student practice two reading comprehension passages. We looked at how he was taking notes during the passages and his current weakness with detail questions. Finally, we worked on a schedule for the student moving forward and the strategy to achieve his target score.

LSAT Tutoring review by Kathryn in Miami, FL
This session the student and I went over some logic games that she worked on for class to see where she went wrong and how to solve them more easily. The games she was working on were either grouping games or grouping/linear combination games. These types of games are less familiar to her than the linear games, so she as having a tougher time with them. We went through each game together slowly, making sure to diagram everything carefully and in the best way possible, and most importantly make all possible inferences. These were fairly complex games, so there was a lot of work to be done just to understand how the rules all related to each other. After going through each game together, the student said that she had a better understanding of these types of games, but that they are still tricky.

The student took another practice exam and got a 142, with only 2 correct on the logic games section. We spent the whole session going over her logic games and arguments sections from the practice exam. While she is more comfortable now with 1D linear games, she still needs more practice with the more complicated games.

LSAT Tutoring review by David in Miami, FL
The student and I worked Prep Tests #62 and 37. We focused on reading comprehension and logic games today. She continues to study the Logic Reasoning book. The student will work on Prep Test #63 and the logic game section of Prep Test #62 during the next week. I will send her my diagram for each of the logic games. Natalie understands the questions as we discuss them, but is struggling to improve the score she gets from the practice tests. A part o f it is because Natalie has not focused on logic games for a while. Another part should improve as Natalie works through the Logical Reasoning book and practice applying the lessons learned from there.

LSAT Tutoring review by Max in Miami, FL
Today we reviewed some additional logical reasoning sections. The student seems to be progressing well, although time is still an issue for her. I encouraged her to attempt to look at each problem conceptually. Moving forward, I would like her to practice under a time constraint.

LSAT Tutoring review by Austin in Miami, FL
In this session we covered the basics of both logical reasoning and logic games questions. We discussed the fundamentals of how to attack a logical reasoning question (isolating the conclusion, finding the support, attacking the argument) and practiced with some basic assumption and necessary assumption questions. From there we moved on to the basics of how to diagram a sequencing game and the rules within a sequencing game before attempting a few example questions.
