SAT Tutoring review by Alonso in Miami, FL
We spent the time figuring out how to guess definitions of words and answer the fill in the blank questions. Most of them come from more commonly used words and tried some strategies to memorize some common words.

SAT Tutoring review by Chelsea in Miami, FL
The student had completed one math section of practice test #2 so we went over the one incorrect answer. We then completed a worksheet of 20 difficult (level 5) exam math questions. We discussed some general strategies come test day, and I recommended that he familiarize himself with a list I provided of ~200 most commonly seen exam vocabulary words. That, along with completing more sections of practice test #2, are his assignments for next time.

SAT Tutoring review by Daniel in Miami, FL
Went over the essay that she had written prior to the session and emailed me. She had greatly improved since the last essay and I told her that she had fixed much of the major issues that had existed in her prior attempts. While we did go over the essay and some of the errors that existed, I emphasized the fact that the most important things were looking very good. We then went through the grammar section, as we hadn't had very much focus on that previously, and she seemed quite strong in that section. We spent the rest of the time working solely on the mathematics section, going through multiple tests and discussing the topics and approaches for problems.

SAT Tutoring review by Adam in Miami, FL
The student and I had our last session of test prep today. We reviewed several practice sections he did for homework. He did much better on these sections, but admitted that he hasn't been focusing on his timing. We also reviewed some difficult math problems and general strategies for the other sections of the test. I think he finally got over the hump in math and should have a good chance of getting a 1600 on the next test.
