I am a poet, lover of literary gossip, and unrepentant Freud apologist. I have a BA in English and Psychology from Columbia University and will soon be pursuing an MFA at Johns Hopkins.
I enjoy adjusting my teaching style for each students' individual needs. I have worked with students struggling with basic phonics to total literary whizzes who needed more fine-grained advice.
I have tutored students from all levels, from middle school to college. I am especially excited to help students with reading comprehension, essay editing, and argument building. In general, my subjects include: English grammar, literature, creative writing, psychology, and social sciences. I also performed exceptionally on standardized tests and can help students preparing for AP tests, SAT or ACT exams.
