As a rule I follow Common Core State Standards, in your case MD Standards of Math and Physics skills. Any school or college must create own Syllabus that based on the Standards; however, the Syllabus may be a little different from school to school.
That's why I ask learner to send me Syllabus, textbook title, chapter(s) the learner would like to study, and HW/ assignment you tried to solve but had some problems.
That information helps me to understand points we will need to focus on.
