I first began tutoring during graduate school to 4th and 5th graders as part of a neighborhood outreach volunteer program. I liked helping disadvantaged kids be able to have access to quality tutors (we were all graduate students at the University of Chicago) to help put them on equal footing.

Over the years since I've helped colleagues study for the GMAT or apply to business school, some more arcane areas of business and economics like Econometrics, Regression Analysis, Accounting and Finance. Then as my first born child entered school and had some troubles with math and later Algebra, I tutored him and helped him get through material he was discouraged about and thought he couldn't handle. He ended up getting a 90% this past school year.

More recently I've been tutoring a woman who is about to enter an Executive MBA program at Cornell University, focusing on all the quantitative aspects and subjects of an MBA program.
