I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and that it is the educators job to find out how people learn and then deliver information to them in that way. I also believe in teaching to the whole person and not just doing academic teaching. One must be able to effectively participate in society and it takes more than academic knowledge to do so.
I am a certified Special Educator of 5 years. I have taught ages/grade levels K-12 grade all subjects including: life skills, basic reading, writing, and math. I have worked with students with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Impairments, and other disabilities. I have tutored elementary students, in low income schools to increase reading skills.
