I have always been driven by my passion of contributing to positive educational growth. This has led me to pursue various civic engagement opportunities while studying social psychology at Bard College, as well as related social development projects at The New School for Public Engagement where I earned a Master's in Nonprofit Management. During my undergraduate study, I spent two summers in Qingdao, Northern China achieving fluency in Mandarin Chinese and researching early childhood behavior in Chinese preschools (Qingdao University). Subsequently, I spent one semester in Hong Kong engaging in a cross-cultural social psychology exchange program (Lingnan University).
I am excited to work with students on subjects of my expertise: English, reading, writing, verbal SATS, regents exams, and Chinese Mandarin. I have served as a tutor to students of all ages, from kindergarten to first-year college students. What makes me a great tutor is my level of commitment and my genuine desire to see my students succeed.
