I am a graduate of Queens College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Applied Physics and I am currently working towards a M.A in Science Education. I have had experience tutoring students in lower level college physics and mathematics. My favorite subjects to tutor would be high school physics, algebra 1, pre-algebra and elementary math. I believe that it is possible for students to understand any concept. However, what determines the success of understanding is how the concept is being delivered. I too, have had experiences where lessons and topics were too difficult to understand, but what helped me is to change my approach to how the material is viewed. This is what I would do with my students. Outside of the classroom, I have a large interest in music. As a matter of fact, I even play the piano for a church that I attend. Also in my spare time, I exercise and play sports. I am a firm believer in education and I believe that with the right assistance, one can have a better chance at achieving academic success.
