I am a student at Lehigh University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. I have previously tutored students from elementary school through high school. I have also volunteered as a Teacher's Aid, in a Special Education classroom, where I helped reinforce the lessons taught. My favorite subjects to tutor are Math and Science. I thoroughly enjoy the complexities of piecing information together in order to solve Math problems and their applications in Science. I love sharing this enjoyment with other students. While tutoring, I like to have the student tell me what they already know about the problem and then I explain the basic ideas involved. With this foundation, students can then try to set up and solve the problem. Other than academics, I enjoy sports, reading, and board games. My favorite sports are basketball, soccer, and rock climbing.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to go through problems and have the student solve them. I like to both work out the problem and then just provide guidance when the student gets to a point where s/he is stuck. I believe the best learning is through experience.
