Tutoring review by Liban in Clarence Center, NY
We reviewed the final exam for the course. The student improved greatly on identifying the proper test for a given scenario but still needed help interpreting results and statistics. We reviewed what initial statements should be made in the context of each question, which leads into the null/alternative hypothesis. After the review and some practice, I had her try it out on some of her questions. She was able to make the correct basic statements. We then reviewed the variables used in the formulas and how they can be interpreted. She understood the material by the end of the session. We finished the session completing tables for some of her questions.
