Hi, I'm Mandy! I hold dual BAs in Developmental Psychology and Communication Education from UNLV, along with certifications in TESOL, Phonics to Reading, and PRIDE Orton-Gillingham. I specialize in Phonics, English, Reading, and Writing. I love making learning engaging, interactive, and personalized. I love to tutor these subjects because I love to bring a different and more creative approach to better understanding the difficult concepts. This will be my 7th year as a tutor. While tutoring, I believe explaining the conceptual parts of the problem is important, but I also believe in giving a lot of practice problems to reinforce the ideas.
