I am a teacher with 19 years of teaching experience. Most of my experience has been teaching math to middle school students with learning disabilities. I enjoy working one on one with a student to help him or her understand a concept. I view math problems as puzzles to be solved. I use real life examples and manipulatives to help students solve the puzzles!

Currently, I'm a third year dental student and I'm motivated to tutor. I tutored for about four years in my undergraduate and this is where I learned different learning strategies. I altered and personalized the way I taught each student depending on how they learn best. I was able to communicate effectively and would enjoy every session I had with each student.
