I always had a passion for working with children and teaching. Growing up in the inner city of Jersey City, NJ. and living in The Bronx, NY, I always wanted to see improvement in my society. I always felt that for me to see change in my city, it was imperative that I changed my thought process. In under grad I studied social work and psychology; which ultimately lead me to receive my B.S. in psychology. I graduated from Liberty University in 2021 with my MAT in Special Education, and I'm currently working on my PhD in Special Education. I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. This passion has lead to me to understand that each child is unique in his/her own way and possesses their own learning style. All of my experiences have guided me to realize that special education is the best fit for me, and in return I can be an immediate impact in my students' lives.
