I started tutoring while completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas. I tutored undergraduate students in both the sciences and math subjects. Soon, I realized teaching was something I have a passion for, and I began tutoring privately as well. I have experience in tutoring age groups from 8-25 years old. I hold a degree in Biology and Chemistry and will be starting Medical School in August 2017.

My goal as an educator is to aid in my students' personal growth as writers, researchers, and scholars. Reading, writing, and critical thinking are essential tools for developing progress as students. My experiences as a college graduate, educator, and graduate student all allow me to empathize with my students, as well.
