I am a high school Social Studies teacher and an Adjunct Professor at a local university. I enjoy teaching and working with students of all levels. My goal is always to create an optimal learning environment in my classroom and make every student feel at home.

...Maya archaeological sites. I have been working in Belize and Guatemala for the last three years. I have also previously worked in Nasca, Peru excavating ancient cemeteries. My laboratory analysis of human remains is focused on the stable carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen isotope analysis of human bones and teeth that I collect in the field.

I also believe in helping students use the writing knowledge that they already have, as well as topics that interest them personally, in the classroom.

I have a passion for linguistics and government/politics. My favorite classes to teach are conversational Spanish, ESL pronunciation and US Citizenship.
