I am Ankit Jajoo. I am enrolled in Duke University Class of 2022 studying neuroscience and computer science. STEM is my number one passion, while history is my number one interest. Humanities and STEM not only coexist, but work together often in life. While STEM provides the foundation for the future, humanities contributes to how it is used to advance humanity as a whole. I love biology, chemistry, and computers. It is so cool to see how all these tiny minute parts of the world interact to create you, me, and everything we touch. On the other hand, history is cool to see how societies interacted to create the present world. The past is never separate from us, but always influencing everything from the various countries to cities to the tiny villages all over the world. The world is a combination of all of this and it is my passion to understand the world. Other than just about education and information, I love teaching other people about stuff. I enjoy teaching all my friends some stuff, in return they teach me other stuff. Contrary to popular opinion, teaching is a two way street. I've learned a tremendous amount from students and I hope they learned a similar amount from me. Tutoring students in a field I enjoy such as STEM or history is a dream come true.

I am a certified Math 5-9 Teacher in FL. I taught middle and high school for two years. I am a graduate of Florida State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Science with a focus in Public Administration and Sociology. After graduation, I took a gap year before graduate school to serve in AmeriCorps. I highly recommend it! I currently do photography and work at a startup. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math. I have worked with students in grades K-12. I cater to each student's individual learning style. In my experience, it is always rewarding seeing my students have that "aha moment" when they understand a concept or when their confidence and attitude towards a subject has changed from when we started. This in turn is reflected in their improved test scores and grades in the class. I am a firm believer in fully investing in my students to help them reach their highest potential.

I am a graduate of The University of Florida. I received my BA in public relations and my MA in communications. I am very passionate about tutoring in the areas of reading, writing, and English. In my experience with helping students prepare for Standardized Tests, I have had success with ACT and SAT reading and verbal sections. I am a current undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor???s in music education. During and prior to my time at UCF, I have worked with music students of all ages, helping them gain insight into technique and practice methods, and volunteered time during high school to acting as a tutor for those struggling in academic subjects. In my time acting as an academic tutor, I have found that I most enjoy assisting students struggling with English and math. With all subjects, but especially in regards to these, I often find that students know more than they believe they do. My aim in teaching is to help students take ownership and pride in what they do well, and begin to use this confidence to establish responsibility for their own learning that will advance their knowledge beyond a classroom setting. I believe that the more control students find they have over their own learning, the more successful they will be. In my spare time I enjoy all sorts of films and TV shows, and doing research for social justice advocacy.

I am excited and passionate to share with students. I have a lot of experience in tutoring from previous volunteer positions I held. I hope to help students understand the beauty of math and teach it in a way that explores the concepts of math not just memorization.

Reetish is currently a Medical Student. He was born in Winnipeg, Canada and after moving from several places, he now calls Oviedo, Florida home. Reetish currently has a Masters of Science in Neuroscience and is hoping to graduate medical school in 2026. He enjoys tutoring all hardworking students in the areas of math and science including difficult courses such as Calculus, Anatomy, Physiology, and algebra. I am an interdisciplinary educator with an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. My background is primarily in integrated arts learning and museum education and I specialize in visual arts, history and art history, and object-based learning. I am a recent graduate from a masters program in biostatistics at Columbia University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences, with a focus in neurobiology at Northwestern University. In August, I will be starting a doctoral program in biostatistics at NYU. I was a teaching assistant at Columbia University in my department and also have tutored graduate students and undergraduates privately as well. My primary areas of tutoring are math and statistics coursework in addition to math sections on standardized tests such as the GRE and GMAT.
