Hi! I'm Rachel. I have a pretty relaxed teaching style and adapt well to all kinds of students. I really aim for students to understand concepts rather than make great test scores. However, great test scores are a good side effect of understanding concepts better.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds on writing, reading, humanities, and test preparation. I'm a PhD student in Modern European History at Rutgers University, and I recently did an exchange year at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. I have 8 years of experiencing in tutoring and previously worked for the Educational Testing Service in test development for the SAT, PSAT and pre-AP English exams.

Hello! I'm Julia! I'm a recent college graduate with two bachelor's degrees and a passion for learning. My majors, Political Science, Economics, & Sociology, were all social science and public policy-oriented, and in these fields I specialize. Additionally, I have much learning in the natural sciences, having taken many AP courses in high school. I can also tutor in English, having a strong grasp of my native tongue, wordplay, and literary analysis.
