I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BS) and Duke University (MA). I have worked in marketing and taught high school English. My primary areas of expertise are writing (argumentative, academic, and journalistic) and standardized test prep. I enjoy using data to identify areas for growth and helping people achieve their goals. In my free time, I like to swim and spend time outside with my family.

I tutor a wide variety of subjects, including math, reading, and writing. I feel that the best way to approach a new student is by figuring out what enthuses them and what they like to do, and try to relate that into the material I'm teaching.
