I'm a recent PhD graduate in Bioengineering in the Boston area. My thesis involved nanoparticles and bacterial infections, but as a biomedical engineer I've had training in circuits, mechanics, some programming, chemistry and biology. I believe that people can learn anything if they work hard enough and have a good teacher. Relating subjects to a student's interests allows the student to be fully engaged and want to learn the material. From there, you can teach the student how to critically think through a problem so they can solve any problem or learn any material that comes their way.
