My practice is founded in the belief that critical thinking will always benefit the student greater than memorization. Therefore I spend my time show my students how to think and deconstruct problems instead of having them memorize the answers. This method has taken my student far beyond the classroom and has given them the tools to achieve their dreams.

I am a graduate of Northwestern University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science with a social science concentration in Sociology. Since graduation, I have worked primarily as a journalist and editor in the news industry. I am passionate about history, writing, reading, political science, and sociology and have an extensive history with math - having come from a long line of math educators.
