Currently, I am a Bioengineering graduate student. I have a passion and talent for teaching complex concepts to students with different learning styles and needs. Throughout my undergraduate university experience, where I graduated with a 4.0, I tutored peers in subjects ranging from Multivariable Calculus, Python, Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics. Teaching math is in my blood. I taught at the elementary and middle schools and most recently, until COVID changed everything, I was employed as a math intervention teacher at a local elementary school, helping small groups of students from grades 1 through 5 who were struggling with math. My focus is to teach concepts by helping youngsters understand why they are doing what they are doing, rather than teaching them by rote.
