Hi! My name is Melanie. Presently, I teach AP English Literature and AP English Language at the high school level. I love working with students of all ages to help them become better readers and writers, but most importantly, to help them become more well-rounded and cultured critical thinkers.

My mission as a teacher is to help my students realize that through learning, they can embrace their life in a positive way. I want to help all my students believe in themselves and through that belief, take on the challenges of life and go forward.
