After graduating, I moved to my favorite city in the world, New York, to try new things.I received a TEFL certification from the International TEFL academy after taking their 170-hour course in 2021. I currently am working as an ESL instructor at Manhattan College's Intensive English Program in New York City. I previously taught ELA and Math at the Huntington Learning Center in Brooklyn.The 3 subjects I would like to teach are ESL, Spanish, and Math. The latter 2 are subjects that students struggle with immensley in school, and I was one of them until I developed better study habits.While I study languages for professional reasons, it is also a hobby that I do for fun. My other hobbies are watching baseball, playing, writing, and listening to music, going to the gym, and playing video games.

I have been editing informally for friends, classmates, and coworkers for as long as I can remember, and I endeavor to guide a writer's ability to analyze, organize, and captivate while encouraging his or her strengths. I began taking standardized tests with the ITBS in kindergarten and took at least one per year through grade school including ten AP exams and the PSAT with which I became a National Merit Scholar.
