The student and I reviewed her classwork regarding concurrent points within a triangle. This included circumcenters, incenters, centroids, and orthocenters. Today's session with the student went well. We continued working on her missing homework assignments and quizzes. We completed a number of quizzes and one paper test. Her biggest challenge is the amount of material she is having to complete this week. The student has a great attitude towards our sessions. .After today, she has officially passed her math class and the rest of the work we do will be to increase her grade. .

Today we worked on factoring polynomials and functions. We did a bunch of problems where the student had to look at the graphs of multiple functions and then use those graphs to solve the equation containing those functions. She made some avoidable mistakes at first, but once I got her to slow down and take her time she did really well. We spent the last 20 minutes of our session working on the website since she now has to earn 10,000 points per week. We did factoring and functions there as well. She was a little unsure at first with the f(x) notation but I explained to her that it means "f of x" and how it works with coordinates and then she did much better.
