I have a passion for teaching and tutoring that is inherited from previous generations of educators in my family. I strive to meet students' needs and enjoy continuing to learn more from my work each day. I have taught freshman composition for the past two years and received a BA in English from UGA and an MA in English from Auburn.

I received a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Missouri. I recently obtained my Masters in Public Health from Georgia State University. I have experience substitute teaching primary through high school and tutoring undergraduate students. I believe learning best occurs collaboratively.
