Getting to this strategy, however, is different for every individual-- it is not something you can simply google or watch a tutorial for. It takes time and effort. I put a high-emphasis in developing this strategy in my students, and love to watch them master it.

I love biology and really enjoy helping others understand how biology applies to them and not just in an academic setting. I understand what it can feel like to struggle to understand a topic and would love the opprotunity to help others like me to keep their passion for their studies and to increase their understanding.

Aside from being an avid scholar, I am a world traveler and enjoy trying new things! I also love to run, draw, read, and cook, either with friends or simply by myself. I received my master's and Ph.D. in Applied science from the University of Arkansas. I have taught undergraduate and pharmacy students and am very passionate about science. I love teaching students and participating in their development process because I am always happy to help students and see their success. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, walking, cooking, and watching TV.
