I am a recent graduate from Occidental College. My major was geology and my minor was economics. I also have coursework in math, biology, and physics. I like to break down large systems into digestible components that are easy to understand and then relate them back to the large scale topic at hand.

Hello! I've spent three years working in Chicago as a Tutor, Mentor, and Role Model to inner city students aged 11-18. I've also spent five summers at Culver Summer academies serving as a counselor at their 6 week military style camp.

I'm an undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in the Pre-Engineering program working toward a major in Computer Engineering. I have done coursework in CS, Math and Physics. I have previously been a course assistant for the introduction to computer science class at my university, where I held office hours to help students with problems.

I believe students have trouble learning material when they haven't had the opportunity to connect it to their lives personally. I focus on enabling students to develop effective study habits and working out problems on their own, with guidance as necessary.
