As a psychology major, I focus on the development of the mind and its connection to the emotions that we use to learn. Understanding the process of learning from a psychological perspective gives me an advantage in my ablility to tutor. I am able to identify where each student meets their challenges, to then apply the best accurate teaching techniques to help them achieve their highest potential academic goal.

Teaching Mathematics for 13 years in high schools by learning methods of thinking not methods of solving. Most of my students are engineers now. Using different strategies to get same concept is my way of teaching. I believe that each student can be a unique wonderful person.

Six years ago, I started tutoring as a part-time job in college, and I immediately fell in love with teaching and creating connections with my students. This past January, I followed my passion and began an exciting journey to tutor full- time.
