My approach to tutoring is to make learning as enjoyable and relevant to the student as possible. Everyone learns in a unique was, and I adapt my teaching style to best accommodate my student. I've tutored students in writing, reading, test prep, and math, in both one-on-one sessions and in groups. I'm most passionate about teaching writing. Whether it's a college essay or a book report, I believe empowering a student to communicate in their own voice is one of the most crucial skills someone can have. In addition to tutoring, I'm also a cartoonist and writer. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy drawing, playing piano, and watching basketball.
