...Zavaleta and I am a recent graduate from New York University. I have always had a passion for working with young children especially when it comes to education. I am big when it comes to listening and making sure everyone is listened to. Some subjects are harder than others for everyone and my job is to make sure I can simplify it and take as much time as someone needs to process the information.

I believe I can teach mathematics to anyone who wants to learn it, for whatever reason. The motivation is the most important factor. I happen to love the subject, and this just means that I enjoy talking about it and communicating about it. Mathematics is about knowing what you know, and knowing what you do not know - what could be more important than that?... My teaching philosophy is that is that you learn by doing.

I've been helping students learn subjects ranging from coding to game design to improvisational comedy for 7 years. As much as I love teaching I also love to make people laugh and when I am able to do both it really makes my job worth it. Right now, I'm studying Game Design and Communications at RPI, focusing on how best to teach people complicated systems without losing their attention. This informs my tutoring.
