I am a high school English teacher currently living in Phoenix, Arizona who is passionate about education and hoping to further my experience in helping students meet their individual goals, improve their overall learning, and increase their academic performance. My personal belief is that every student can and wants to learn. I strive, as a tutor, to guide, foster and facilitate meaningful learning that is lead by the student.

I taught writing, literature, and women's studies for 13 years for jr. high through college age students. I've worked as an academic coach at a med school, and tutored in writing, test prep, and helped many students write the college essay that got them into their dream school.
