I am an English lover and graduate of Arizona State University's English Creative Writing department. I have always had an affinity for language, poetry, and writing. As soon as I learned to read, I devoured one book after another, which is a practice I have continued to this day. My journey with language and language arts inspires me to share my love of English with others. I am enthusiastic about helping students to harness the power of language for themselves, whether it be for scholastic success or personal reflection/expression. I have worked as a freelance tutor with high school students to expand their reading and writing abilities. In college. I also worked with the PEN Project, a prison recidivism program, where I worked with inmates to help them improve their creative writing skills.
