I am married with a beautiful Dominican girl, her name is Teresa. She gave me my two most precious gifts; my older son Luis Alejandro and my youngest Emilio.

I am certified to teach in grades K-6, Middle School Science grades 7-8, English grades 7-12, Math grades 7-12, and History grades 7-12. I am currently working towards obtaining my Masters of Science/Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am in the application phase of entering a program. I am a state-certified teacher and have homeschooled two of my nephews. I teach English, English Language Arts, Public Speaking, High School and Middle School Writing and Reading, and Writing for adults. I am a huge advocate for higher education and investing in our next generation. Out of 20 aunts and uncles and 60 first cousins I am the first in my family to graduate college. I believe in empowering individuals and showing them how to become successful in their specific discipline. Honesty is the best policy. My life is an open book and I am glad to be a role-model and have a positive impact on other lives, I count it a privilege to be in this position.

I am working for income much less than in the past and tutoring is a way for me to continue learning and sharing how to learn and what I have learned. I am a husband, father, and grandfather and greatly enjoy those roles.
