I am passionate about statistics. I completed advanced coursework in statistics as part of my master's degree. I am knowledgeable about introductory topics such as descriptive statistics, probability, t-tests, correlation, and analysis of variance. I am excited to soon begin my doctorate studies in Molecular Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and continue exploring the effects of the environment on gene expression.

I am better able to appreciate my travels, since I have a background in geography. My knowledge of French has proven beneficial in that I have made many summer trips to France over the last 25 years and I have also traveled to Switzerland, Belgium, and Morocco on various occasions.

I am a certified teacher in grades 1-8, Special Education EC-12, and I have my Principal Certification EC-12. I have been a teacher at all levels for 17 years. Both of my college degrees are heavy in reading and writing. I love tutoring and have a rapport with students of all ages. In 2008, I was "teacher of the year."

I am a former college instructor who specializes in philosophy, theology, and the history of the classical world. I love dogs, Roman Stoicism, karaoke, and Jane Austen novels (because that Mr. Darcy is such a dream!).
