Over the past nine years I dedicated my career towards working with young adults and children in both public sectors and private establishments. I am a BA graduate of The University of Westminster and a Curating Contemporary Design postgraduate of Kingston University in Partnership with the The Design Museum. After completing my degree in Graphic Information Design, I instantly developed a passion for the learning and participation sector in Museums, which lead me to curate public programmes for a variety of educational needs. My focus as an educator has always been involved in the way learners develop important skills from a creative perspective in order to retain information that will help them to understand it more efficiently. I have taught internationally and in the UK to a wide range of students who come from different backgrounds as well as having different learning goals. I am a certified CELTA and Primary teacher and teach a broad range of subjects. Creative writing, English and Art & Design are my most favourite subjects to teach. I believe that nurturing key life skills such as problem solving, communication, teamwork and leadership are an important part of learning that will help pupils to progress in life. My teaching philosophy is built upon the foundation of creativity and engagement, a core element that enables learners to express themselves, build confidence and self-esteem. When I am not teaching, I enjoy visiting new exhibitions, baking desserts and keeping active.
