I joined Varsity tutors because I am passionate about supporting the next generation of students. Helping someone go from little to no understanding of a topic to being able to solve problems by themselves gives me real joy.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and Sport Science from Loughborough University. I mainly tutor Maths, but am also capable of tutoring for Physics and PE if required.

Maths is my favourite subject to tutor as it's my favourite to learn. The fact that every answer to a problem is right or wrong and has a logical method to find it feels so much more natural to me.

My tutoring style ranges depending on the student, but usual revolves around guided discovery. This means I will provide you with the materials and support for you to work out solutions yourself, but with more help if you are struggling on a particular topic/question.
