My specialty is working with kids and adults who have ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and other learning disabilities. I focus on having sessions broken up into short fun sections, that allow us to jump around in the problem topic in an interesting and engaging way. The most important thing to me is keeping students of all ages enjoying what we are learning and stress-free.

The subject I am the most passionate about tutoring is reading. In many ways, reading is one of the most important things you can learn to do. I love working with students who may have fallen off the reading train or never really gotten on it at all. My focus is getting students caught up with where they should be and hopefully a little bit beyond that as well. Whether they are struggling with the alphabet, assigning sounds to words, or reading comprehension. I also strive to help students with falling a little in love with creative writing. Writing can be really intimidating when you struggle with words and I aim to remove those barriers.

I hold 4 degrees in English, Art, Anthropology, and Visual Communication Design. I am a lifelong learner in love with the process of learning. The first three degrees are from Pima community college and the last is from Alberta University of the Arts. I am familiar with both the American and Canadian school systems, and am comfortable with tutoring for curriculums in either country.
